Mold & tooling engineering
Engineering calculations for mold and tooling designers.
43 engineering calculations, STEP-based mold set analysis, and a 3D/drawing viewer for injection, sheet metal, and casting molds — in one app. Works fully offline, purchased once, used for life.
Launching first on iOS and Android, with macOS, Windows, Linux, and Web to follow.

Mold set analysis
Open a STEP file, get a plate list.
The part of the app you will not find elsewhere: the mold set is read out of the geometry, not measured by hand.
01
Open the STEP file
The file is opened on the device. Nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and no copy of your part leaves the phone.
02
The part is analyzed
Overall dimensions and projected area are read from the geometry. You set material, cavity count, cavity pressure, and production volume — the inputs that are yours to decide.
03
Mold set and plate list
The app suggests mold set dimensions and a plate list with materials, then totals the steel and groups it as an order list. Export the plate list as TXT.
What the analysis returns
- 01Mold set dimensions suggested from the part
- 02Plate list: size, quantity, and weight per plate
- 03Recommended stock sizes, machining allowance included
- 04Total steel weight, with scrap allowance
- 05Material groups as an order list
- 06Clamping force and projected area
Calculations
43 calculations, four categories.
Calculations that come out of daily practice, kept in the format engineers already use. Four modules — not forty-three menus to hunt through.
10 CALC
Plastic injection
Clamping force, cooling time, shrinkage allowance, and the rest of the injection set.
09 CALC
Sheet metal & press
Blanking force, die clearance, bending force, springback, press tonnage, strip layout.
06 CALC
Casting
Calculations specific to casting molds.
18 CALC
General engineering
Column buckling, fatigue check, bolt torque, bearing life, helical spring, IT tolerance, fits and clearances, surface roughness, hardness conversion, unit converter.
34 materials in the library — calculations draw their data from it, so the same steel means the same numbers everywhere in the app.
Offline is the position
Most calculation and analysis tools need a connection. This one is finished before it would ever ask for one — no account, no upload, no network.
- Shop floor
- Works on a closed network. The app runs where there is no signal and no guest Wi-Fi — the same result at the machine as at the desk.
- Your files
- The STEP file stays on the device. Customer geometry is not sent to a server, because there is no server.
- Licence
- One-time purchase, no subscription. No login screen between you and a calculation.

Who it is for
Written for the people who verify the number by hand.
Used at the design desk and on the shop floor — by the same person, on the same day.
Mold designer
Quoting a job from the part file
You have the customer's STEP file and you need mold set dimensions, a plate list, and steel weight before you can talk numbers. That work takes an afternoon in a spreadsheet; here it starts from the file.
Toolmaker · tool shop
Ordering steel and setting the press
Stock sizes with machining allowance, weight per plate, clamping force. The order list is on the phone at the material rack, not on a desktop upstairs.
Mechanical engineer
Checking someone else's figure
Tolerance and fit, bolt torque, bearing life, buckling, springback — the standard checks, with the material library behind them and a PDF report to attach to the file.
Built by two mold engineers working in the field. The calculations are the ones they needed themselves; the interface is Turkish and English, because the shop and the customer are rarely the same language.
